Yma o Hyd is an observational documentary film centred on the Carmarthen Coraclemen and the wider community of traditional Netsmen of Wales. It invites us into the sensory world of rivers and estuaries, focusing on how Coracle Fishers, Seine Netters, and Lave Netters come to know water through long term, intimate engagement with tides, seasons, and fish behaviour.

We were commissioned by The University of Wales Trinity Saint David, along with funding from The Arts and Humanities Research Council and Belmont Forum to make the film.

My role was DOP, editor, and colourist on the film.
